This relatively spacious bar provides an interesting mix of spaces, from romantic and intimate feeling seating along the wall, to more casual tables on the floor, as well as a beautiful and lengthy bar with plenty of seating.

The name of this bar comes from the beautiful mural by Ludwig Bemelmans (the creator of the "Madeline" series of children's books), which covers virtually every available wall space.

The cocktails here are truly a treat worth the visit. Avoid ordering whatever your standard is, and instead take a look at the cocktail menu and select something appropriate from there.
