San Francisco Cocktail bars
Being a devote Seattleite, it should be no surprise that San Francisco is a city that I can feel amazingly at home at. Unfortunately I don't get down there anywhere near as much as I'd like to.
Here are soem of the bars that I've written up reviews for:
And there are of course many others that I haven't yet written about, much less visited. Here are just a few of the other bars in San Francisco that I can either personally recommend, or which have been strongly recommended to me by people who's opinion I trust:

A beautiful and comfortable little restaurant which provides a nice escape from the hectic pace of the day.

Hip, trendy, and beautiful, this is not the sort of place you might expect to find well crafted cocktails, but trust me, you'll be amazed at what they can turn out.
Enrico's
504 Broadway
San Francisco, CA 94133
Phone: (415) 982-6223

Enrico's is perhaps best known for their Mojito's, I highly recommend trying one and discover what a "real" Mojito tastes like.
Bix

Fax: (415) 433-4574

Sort of like a little hidden away "speakeasy", Bix is a classic cocktail emporium which fills up quickly.
Trader Vic's
555 Golden Gate Ave
San Francisco, CA 94102-3220
Cross Street: Van Ness Avenue

Trader Vic's? Yes, Trader Vic's. If you go in for a Mai Tai, ask for a "San Francisco Mai Tai", which will give you a real Mai Tai, made from scratch, instead of using their in-house Mai Tai mix.
