Coffee Nudge
DrinkBoy Says: It may be hard to find a bartender that knows this drink outside of the Pacific Northwest, but on a cold winter evening, it really hits the spot.

While it has probably been over ten years since I've last ordered this delightful drink, I still have font memories of this late night warmer-upper.

During my early experiences in cocktail lounges, this was the drink my wife and I would commonly order. I think we first learned about it by seeing it listed on one of those "table toppers" that lounges use to provide quick recommendations to their clientele.

We soon found that this was a satisfying drink that we could order at any lounge we might happen to visit in Seattle. But apparently this drink has a lesser following in the warmer climates, because on travels in California and other states, we rarely found anybody who had heard of this drink, much less be able to make it.

So first familiarize yourself well with this drink by mixing it several times yourself, and that way when the bartender looks at you blankly when you order it, you'll be prepared to enlighten them on the fine points of making this drink perfectly.
