Tailspin
On a recent trip to San Francisco, the bartender was wondering what interesting cocktails I might have in my collection that used Chartreuse. Using the AvantGo channel on my PocketPC, I showed him what I had and he zeroed in on the Tailspin. It had been perhaps a few years since I last had this and so it sounded like a good choice. Frankly, I was a little amazed at the taste. I had forgotten how good it tasted.

Sort of a cross between a Bijou and a Negroni, the Tailspin represents and interesting combination of flavors. Myself, I love both Campari and Chartreuse, so it is no suprise that this might be something I would gravitate towards, but I can easily understand how somemight cringe just a little at this drink.

Give it a try, if you are brave enough.
