Resources And Links
Select from a number of different types of resources in order to see other sources of information regarding cocktails, bartending, and spirits in general
- Books:
-
With the sudden increase in popularity of the cocktail, a whole new cadre of cocktail books have been hitting the market in the last several years. Add to that the classic mixology manuals of the past, and you've got a lot of research to do. My own personal library includes a wide variety of titles, both old and new. Included here are pages that identify some of my favorite books, and hopefully provide you some assistance in being able to purchase them yourself.
I've tried to break these down into specific categories depending on exactly what you are trying to find. In each category listing, I am only mentioning those books that I think provide some level of quality information.
- Websites:
-
It seems like every day a new website comes on line with information related in some fashion about cocktails. I've decided not to even consider trying to provide you with the definative list of links to other peoples sites. Instead, the sites I'll categorize, will be the ones that I actually use myself on a semi regular basis, or are ones that I think show particular creativity and attention to promoting Quality Cocktails.
If you are wanting to find a fairly comprehensive list of cocktail/spirit related websites, you might want to try the links page on the Ardent Spirits site. I often go there when there is some company, product, or topic that I want to locate additional information on.
- Contacts
- Not everybody has a website on the Internet, this is a (short) listing of some of the companies I've delt with for supplies, information, or other related issues.
