Whiskey Sour

Whiskey Sour: 2 ounces bourbon whiskey; 1 ounce simple syrup; 3/4 ounce lemon juice; 1 teaspoon egg white (optional); Shake with ice. Strain into a sour glass, or an ice filled Old Fashioned glass.
