Fog Cutter

When preparing to add some Tiki... er... Exotic Cocktails here, I asked Jeff "Beachbum" Berry what drink he recommended besides the Mai Tai. This classic "Trader Vic" creation was first on his list. As Trader Vic himself said: "Fog Cutter, hell. After two of these, you won't even see the stuff."

Fog Cutter: 2 ounces lemon juice; 1 ounce orgeat; 2 ounces light rum; 1 ounce brandy; 1/2 ounce gin; 1/2 ounce sweet sherry; Shake everything, except the sherry, with ice. Pour into a tall ice filled tiki mug or chimney glass. Float the sherry over the top.; Source: By Victor (Trader Vic) Bergeron (circa 1950)
