Voyager

This represents my entry into the classic Tiki cocktail arena. Since those Polynesian inspired restaurants were intended as a mini-vacation, I felt the name "Voyager" worked really well... or perhaps it's because I'm a big Star Trek fan... either way, it's a great drink.

Voyager: 2 ounces Bacardi rum; 1/2 ounce Benedictine; 1/2 ounce falernum; 1/2 ounce lime juice; 2 dashes Angostura Bitters; Garnish: Piece of lime.; Shake with ice, strain into an ice filled rocks glass.; Source: Robert Hess (2006) for "Tales of the Cocktail" in New Orleans.
